CCC Week 34...

So here we are at the next to last challenge, so sad that this will be
coming to an end. Although Linda who has been hosting this
challenge did say that there would be a special announcement
next week when the final challenge is posted, ooh could there be another challenge?

Well this challenge was not too technical or difficult but I always
seem to have issues with making small collages. Everything had to
be flat to fit under the fragment so that is kind of limiting. I also
changed my background paper as the original one I chose did not
fit with my travel theme. However, I now think my background is
a little busy, which is not me at all. If you hadn't noticed I am
usually more plain and simple in my style. Still it is done and
now I can move on to other art projects.
Hope everyone has an art filled week :)

I can so relate to those words... Usually my husband says when we go the wrong way..."I always wanted to see what was down there".....yea right.....lol
This is fabulous and the background fits perfectly with the fragment. Brilliant job. Annette x

Love this idea, Marlene! I don't think the background is too busy, the fragment with the collage kinda pops off the background, separating it, so it looks wonderful!

Hi Marlene, I can't believe we both used an oval for this challenge. Your background card is wonderful and really sets off your challenge piece.

Loving this collage Marlene, and that is a motto I would certainly be able to apply to my own travels! Great.

I love it!!! Marlene, this is awesome (and so reminds me of our summer trips when I was a kid. Do dads EVER ask for directions?? Your little collage is PERFECT! I don't think the background is too busy, in fact, it works wonderfully for the theme.
