CCC Week 14...

This week the challenge over at Linda's blog involved using
Tim Holtz masks. This is one of my favourite techniques
which I have used a lot in the past.
I decided to incorporate one of Heidi Swapp's masks
into this challenge. I wasn't really sure I liked how it looked,
and my original idea kind of went by the wayside. Anyway in
the end I decided that I was not going to re-do it. When I first
started the challenges I decided to use the same die cut shape
throughout, sometimes this can be limiting with it's small
size. I love the shape of this and am now wondering what I
will do with them when the challenge is over.

What is everyone else going to do with theirs ? I know most
people are doing tags, some cards, some book covers, and
some just do a different thing each week. I was originally
thinking I would just punch a hole in the corner of them all
and put them on a binding ring, not sure now what I
will do and am open to suggestions ???

Could you hang them on a little twine and make a decorative banner out of them (I have some ATC's I've done lately and it's what I plan on doing with them - peg them to a line with those mini wooden clothes pegs) - might work with yours too?)

Marlene, I think it looks fabulous! I love the compass mask, and the birds in flight and perfect sentiment work so beautifully! Great little details, too, like the stitching around the border and the sprockets and spinner. You did a wonderful job!

I love Helen's idea of hanging your finished cards with mini clothespins on a piece of twine. What a cool way to decorate a wall!

Fab work, Marlene! I like that compass mask, and it looks great with the other stamps.
Well, I started with a book, but it's getting really fat, so it's either going to have to be two to three books or switch to tags bound together. Then there's the ATC's I've made that won't be able to go in either place. Not sure if that helps or not! lol!

This is terrific! I love how you have used the compass mask. I have used the same shape for mine as well. I am going to make them into a technique book. Cheers!

Another lovely piece. I've made mine into all different things, mainly cards. I like the idea of a tag book, then you'll have a record of each of the technique used.

I really like this it has a wondeful feeling of freedon and the colours are yum! I have already used some of my makes for other things actually this week I have used a privious one I have made and put it on to an ATC with masking so I am using mine as I go but I do like the idea of have 35 craft pieces showing various techniques, so I love what your doing if they are small you can put them all in a fram eg tags ATCs

Love the way you layered the compass! I also chose to do tags and it does limit me some weeks! I bought some TH D shaped rings and think they will work to make a notebook. :)Nan
