Well here it is the first day of this week's challenge over at
Linda's blog and I already completed it!
Again I did not have the required "tool" and had to make do
using Linda's suggestion. I am sure that it made a difference
as I can see it myself from the other photos posted. Oh well,
will have to go and buy it and try it again. I also had issues
stamping on top of the glossy card stock, I have noticed
before that stamps tend to stick to the surface and you do
not get a good imprint, had to stamp some parts of my bird
a couple of times. Anyway I love how colourful it looks and
now I have to wait a whole week for the next challenge,
what am I going to do until then??

I, too, love the colors on your creation! This technique has such wonderful possibilities.
Your creation is wonderful and happy! I love it -- especially the sentiment!
This is just stunning! You sure can't tell from here that you had problems. Wow, it's so vivid and I love that viney border on the side!
Love the beautiful colors and stamps used!
I think you did a really good job with this technique! good composition too.
Beautiful - nice fresh colors. I like your bird :)
Wow you do some beautiful work and this is no exception. Such vibrant colors and what a lovely sentiment. I'll be following you, lady!
Nice work, even without the tool we have enough manual power to splatter beautifully.
Beautiful colors, Marlene! Love the addition of the bird, makes a great focal point!
Marlene, I really love how this turned out! The colors are gorgeous and the stamping looks great. (I had to fill in some areas of my image with a black marker, too-- I've always had issues stamping onto glossy card stock!). I love the sweet bird with his crown and the lovely sentiment, and the little black vine is such a great touch.
Hey, if you get bored, you can always submit another card for this week! :-)
I love your creation,
your artwork stands out for me,
I only found your blog resently & I have read it from back to frount, I like that you put what you struggled with, as well as your triumphs,
Kat.

This looks great Marlene & I can't see any overstamping at all...I so love crows!!!!
Love these colors and using that bird is so cool! You rocked this challenge with or without the proper tools!
Gorgeous art Marlene!

I think the colors look great, and the stitching really enhanced it.
This is just lovely - fabulous colours! I too have trouble with sticky stamps on alcohol inks abd glossy card...and I notice Linda said she does too so we're in very good company - thought it was just something I was doing wrong!
