Decision made...

Thanks for all the e-mails and comments just wanted to
do a quick update to let you know that I went with
the skull, it just fit the space better than the clock.

Decisions, decisions...

Today I took a really fun and interesting class at
a local store called Paper Vineyard. It was a grungy plaque using metal tape, grungeboard,
Ideology and other miscellaneous ephemera.
The class was taught by Mike Putman and Lesley Fisher, otherwise know as Jack and Cat Curio. They bring everything along so you don't have to and they are so helpful and encouraging, it really was a fun and enjoyable experience.
So my dilemma is that I could not decide on the final piece to add to my plaque, so I brought them both home with me. Which one should I add, the skull or the clock ???

A Flip through my journal...

Well I am trying out some new technology so I apologise in advance if it doesn't work or takes so long that you die of boredom :)

I have finally finished my Remains of the Day journal from the online class I started a few weeks ago. The idea behind this journal was to use up all sorts of scraps, paper, fabric, magazine pages, food wrappers etc that come in to our homes on a daily basis and usually cause clutter. So to make use of these we get to go crazy using all kinds of stuff to make a fun journal that we can add photos, souvenirs and notes in. Here is hoping that this works, please be nice as I have never done anything like this before.

They sure grow up fast...

A bit late posting about this but it was Daniel's birthday
last week, he turned 14 !! Where does the time go ?
We went out to dinner at the restaurant of his choice and
then I had this very yummy birthday cake waiting for
him. We did have 14 candles on it which he blew out
with one breath !

I did not make the cake but got it from here, we had
white chocolate raspberry flavour with the light drizzle
frosting. It was delicious, I highly recommend these
cakes if you have a family celebration. I am hoping
that if I send lots of business their way I may get
a free bundt cake !

Am I the only one...

who spends all their time looking for everyone else's stuff ?
It seems to have become an epidemic in my house
recently, I constantly hear someone shouting
"Where is my ........?" then panic breaks out as it is
usually something that is needed right now.
Somehow though it is always me that manages to
find the lost article. I have decided that if the 3 males
in my house continue like this I am going to have to
start charging a Finders Fee !

So the picture above is my art journal page for the prompt
this week in my Art Journal Caravan adventure I started
at the beginning of the year. Really though it is only
loosely based on the prompt which was "Simply Me".
We were supposed to come up with something that
describes ourself, so at the moment this is how I
see myself as the Lost & Found Fairy.

So how do you see yourself these days ?
