Last post...
for a while anyway. We are off this week to visit our family
back in England. We will be doing a lot of travelling in a
short space of time, planes, trains and automobiles !
I decided to make a travel journal and found this zippered
album which I thought would work well. I made several
pockets inside to hold tickets, brochures etc and stamped
journaling lines to help me keep it neat.
I am going to add to it at the end of each day so I will
have a record of what we did, who we saw and where we went.
Well that is the the plan anyway :)

I was lucky enough to...
take a class by Tim Holtz a couple of weeks ago, here in Mesa,AZ. His classes are so great, Tim and his team provide everything so all you need to do is show up. We had fun using his Ideology line and finished 6 jewelry projects. The same weekend he posted a fun new distress technique on his blog and last weekend I finally got to try it out, I love the way my tags turned out and cannot wait to try some more.

Project 365...
Last year I did a Project 365, taking a photo a day, and my
family really enjoyed it. This year Creating Keepsakes came
out with a kit to do it designed by Becky Higgins. Well I
won't go into the fiasco that occurred with the kit but I was
lucky and did get one, and I must say I am finding it much
harder to do with the kit than last year when I did on my own.
Anyone else out there doing this ?
I am now very behind on my journaling, always the hard part
for me, I am pretty much up-to-date on the photos though.
So here is a shot of my last completed week, way back at the
end of April :(

Well here goes...
This is it, my first attempt at a blog, very basic for now but I am sure
with the help of my youngest son it will get better, he is definitely a
computer whizz and helps me all the time with Photoshop.

Well we are now in full blown heat mode here in Arizona, long hot days ahead of us. Hoping I can get some time to be creative and do some fun things.
Here are the latest additions to our house.
